IAHPERD colleagues and friends, Our Indiana Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance has reached a major milestone! We are celebrating 100 years of promoting healthy, active lifestyles in Indiana. 
It's time to celebrate the heritage of our profession! Let's get this party started at your school by leading your students in 100 ways to celebrate health and physical activity. It can be anything . . . like 100 students doing Drum Fit, 100 healthy snacks, 100 ways to compliment students, 100 free throws, 100 students juggling, jumping, hooping, moving, or dancing. 
Let's rock Indiana with 100 ways to celebrate IAHPERD . . . for a whole year. Post your "100 Ways" picture, video, and/or description on the Association's Centennial blog. Drawings for four (4) winning schools of $50 each will be held at the end of March, April, and May. No limit on the number of entries. Make sure to include your name and your school's name in the post. Indiana AHPERD Night at the Ball Park: Take me out to the ball game on Tuesday, July 25th (7:05 p.m.). Join your colleagues and friends at Victory Field to see your Indianapolis Indians take on the Rochester Redwings. Save the date. More information forthcoming. Oh, and what would a Centennial Celebration be without a Birthday Bash? (As if you needed more reasons to attend this year's state conference at the Wyndham Indianapolis West Hotel on November 2 - 3.) 
In addition to great professional development presentations and activities, dynamic general sessions,
and networking events, this year's conference includes a once-a-century unbelievable party with prizes, giveaways, a silent auction, special guests, historical
remembrances and fantastic music and food. Did I mention birthday cake?
Keep an eye for early conference registration in May. In the meantime, order your limited edition "GetIN" T-shirts (only $10) by May 15. All proceeds going towards the celebration.
