It's time to "GET IN"
|
The Indiana AHPERD State Conference starts in just seven weeks (Nov 2-3; Indianapolis).
The theme - "GET IN" - represents what's important about health and physical education in Indiana. While the event includes the best and brightest minds from the Hoosier state, it wouldn't be a 100 year anniversary without experts from other states, national figures, and the brightest minds from around the globe.
Meet Dr. Dean Kriellaars from the University of Manitoba, last year's keynote speaker at SHAPE America's National Convention and the keynote at this year's Indiana AHPERD state conference.
Dr. Kriellaars will share recent developments and implementation of physical literacy in education, recreation and sport. Key research findings will be shared with knowledge translation for integration into health and physical education lesson planning, as well as creating a physical literacy-enriched school.
